Our exclusive Etna tour at 3000 meters caters to adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers alike, offering an unparalleled experience on both the south and north sides of the volcano, depending on the day and conditions.
TOUR ITINERARY
Our tour is carefully designed to showcase the best of Mount Etna’s dynamic landscape. At an impressive altitude of 3000 meters, you’ll find yourself on the cusp of the volcano’s most active craters. The tour alternates between the south and north sides, providing a fresh perspective and a comprehensive exploration of Etna’s diverse environments.
South Side: the first part of the ascent from 1950 to 2510 meters will take place by the cable car, Funivia dell’Etna. From the cableway station on top, we will board the special UNIMOG vehicles, 4WD off-road vehicles with 30 seats, will reach the base area of the summit craters according with the daily volcanic security limits.
North Side: from the car park of the station, we will board the special UNIMOG vehicles, 4WD off-road vehicles with 30 seats, will reach the base area of the summit craters according with the daily volcanic security limits. This alternative route takes you from the less crowded northern side of the volcano, specifically from Piano Provenzana.
In the further part of the trail, the terrain becomes tougher. During the trip, we will encounter view points from which we will enjoy amazing landscape of the Ionian Coast, from Taormina to Catania. We will see different forms of solidified lava and get to know about endemic vegetation of Etna.
Prepare to be amazed by the raw power and beauty of Mount Etna.

- During peak season, the itinerary may be subject to change, offering the option of using off-road vehicles (Unimogs) instead of the cable car. This alternative route takes you from the less crowded northern side of the volcano, specifically from Piano Provenzana.

NOTE: Due to sudden changes in the volcanic risk on Etna and consequent prohibitions or even to the variability of weather conditions, the tour may undergo unpredictable changes.
Winter time: in the event of significant snow, snowcats may replace off-road tracks, with an adjusted trip cost of €155 per person.
The experience is flexible, can be tailored to suit your needs, including the extras.
Cancellations with less than 48 houres will result in the loss of the deposit.
